If you are staying in the old town, ask your hotel where the driver should drop you off and whether someone can help with luggage. The final stretch may involve walking through pedestrian streets.

Arriving by Sea

Split is also a ferry port. If you are arriving from an island or another coastal destination, check the current operator timetable, arrival terminal, and seasonal service before making onward plans.

Allow time between separate travel arrangements, particularly when a ferry connects with a flight or yacht departure.

Arriving by Road

If you are driving, confirm parking with your accommodation in advance. Staying within the historic center does not necessarily mean you can drive to the hotel entrance.
